People with disabilities are often the most overlooked marginalized group in theater. When we talk about diversity in theater, we like to talk about ways to support more diverse points of views. We're happy to share that Pacific Lutheran University (PLU’s) diversity Center is sponsoring an independent student show showcasing female and non-Binary people of color, but all are welcome to audition.
Auditions are being held Saturday, December 8, 2018. People will be educated on how to portray people with disabilities and what that Walk of Life looks like. Folks do not have to be PLU affiliated. Sample of script:
