Who we are
We are a woman-centered, LGBTQIA+ positive theater production company in Seattle, WA. Dedicated to mounting works with strong female characters, we seek to produce contemporary plays and to re-create classics and musicals. In addition to performers, we create opportunities for directors, technicians and designers. Our goal is to collaborate with artists through all art mediums. We encourage all artists to apply.

We believe in engaging audiences with performances that make them think expansively, laugh and feel more connection. Mistresspiece Theater takes you on an artistic adventure and guarantees an emotional experience with a captivating performance. Our passion is to create space for audiences and actors who dare to dream of equity in theater and in the world. We look to empower folx and
educate through theater.

FREE Q & A PANEL ON WOMEN AND LGBTQIA+ FOLX IN THEATER
We're thrilled we've been sponsored by the Seattle Public Library, which is hosting our free Q & A panel on Women and LGBTQIA+ folx in theater. We'll talk about theater history, where we are now and what's left to do to reach equity in theater. We will also perform a short scene from our holiday play, Float. Please save the date for this free program: November 20, 2018 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Central Library at 1000 Fourth Ave., Seattle, WA 98104-- Level 4, Room 1.
